Obtain an international certification in Contract and Commercial Management

The CCM Practitioner certification program is our most popular certification. Increasingly, both public and private companies are requiring their employees to obtain this certification as part of their mandatory continuing education. Through the program, you gain insight into processes, activities, methods, and best practices, and acquire the skills to understand and apply the key principles and techniques in contract management. NSCCM is accredited by World Commerce and Contracting (formerly IACCM) as an official training partner.

This program is ideal for those who are intensely involved with or responsible for contracts and contract processes. You might work as a contract manager, IT contract manager, lawyer, purchaser, procurement consultant, bid manager, salesperson, or project manager. Typically, you play an operational role but also contribute to shaping processes, roles, and responsibilities in relation to contract management in collaboration with management. You need thorough knowledge of the most important processes, activities, and tools, and you're seeking inspiration on how your organization can best arrange its contract management.

Remember that you can apply for support for the Practitioner program. Read more about this here.

Exercises and Conclusion

A total of 5 days of teaching over 3 months. The training alternates between theory and practice and includes perspectives from the participants' own working lives.

Teaching and materials

The training takes place at the Marriott Hotel, Kalvebod Brygge 5, 1560 Copenhagen. There is a breakfast buffet from 8.30, and classes from 9.00-16.00 every day. Food and catering are included in the price.

The teaching takes place in Danish, with Danish PowerPoints etc., while the syllabus book: "IACCM Contract and Commercial Management – The Operational Guide" (2011, approx. 600 pages) is in English.

We will send the syllabus book to you upon registration or at the latest approx. 2 weeks before the start of the training. Selected chapters must be read before each class. The other material is digital. 2 weeks before the start of the course, you will receive a link to the course's material collection consisting of PowerPoints, appendices, cases and exam exercises used in the course.

In addition to the 5 teaching days, you must expect to spend 1-2 days of preparation time for each teaching day and 1 day to prepare for the exam.

Online multiple choice exam in Danish or English of your choice. The exam is around 100 questions and you have 2 hours to answer the questions. You choose the time for the exam yourself - but no later than one year after you have started the education. Before the "real" exam, you get a practice exam, where we work together on how best to prepare for the final exam. As a general rule, candidates who follow our advice and guidance before the exam pass in the first attempt.

There is the possibility of re-examination and postponement by agreement with NSCCM - for a small fee.

Once you have passed the exam, you will be sent your certification online from IACCM/World Commerce and Contracting and you will be entitled to use the title CCM Practitioner.
